New this Holiday Season! Quilted & Beaded Christmas Ball Ornaments!

I love making handmade ornaments and most of you know that every year my tree is adorned with nothing else.  It's to the point that if someone tries to put something on it that isn't handmade (besides lights) i become a grouchy bear lol.

These ornaments turned out wonderful!  All quilted and beaded by hand.

Each is a different design, color and the quilting pattern varies, as well as the fabrics used.  Oh, speaking of fabrics used...some are vintage and some are modern.  Its a mix of everything.  Just as some beads are metal, some are plastic and some are glass.  So take a look around our Etsy shop and pick out your favorite!

 

Hollow Pumpkin Ornies!!!

I have been so busy lately it's been hard to find the time to get things made.  But I did manage to get a few things done!  Check out these cute little hollow pumpkins!  Great for putting candy, bits of foliage or some sweet annie peeking out.  There are only 2 available so get them while you can!

Good day to you all! I know...I've been missing in action once again...WHEW! I'm still trying to recover from the holidays as I'm sure most of you are!

They went over well and the kids are extremely happy with what they received. I was lucky enough to be able to spend the holidays with my family to include my brothers, nieces, nephews, etc.

So...here comes the slow season so I have decided to focus mostly on ramping up for the upcoming Halloween and Christmas season (I know you don't want to hear that right now lol). However, I will be throwing in a few seasonal items here and there!

I've got fireworks (some finished and some that need to be finished) coming for the 4th of July holiday. These went over real well last year after I decided to dip them in my Extreme Apple Pie wax! I will also be putting out the pattern for them as well!

Ok...what's new? Well...I got some vintage image Valentine hang tags made up. They turned out awesome! You can either buy the finished product or the printable for them! Just click on the photo below to visit my store!



Another new item...something simple but something I have been wanting to do for awhile. I love the smell of blueberry so I figured I would not only make some blueberry ornies...but a blueberry doll as well.

Meet Baby Blue...







She's been out picking blueberries and she got herself a monster! Her monster blueberry as well as the smaller blueberries in her chest have all been dipped in my Boisterous Blueberry scented wax with just a tiny hint of raw vanilla! Oh she and her blueberries smell so wonderful! She will be listed on ebay tonight so check back and click on her photos to go to my auctions.

Lastly, I also have blueberry ornies. Same wax dipped as Baby Blue has above. Each set of ornies contains 24 highly scented blueberries! There will also be a pattern available for these as well!

I am so in love! Not only with my doggies of course but with the new ornies I received!

These awesome ornies came from a wonderful artist. These ornaments just blew me away when I saw them...they are awesome and bout made me cry! Beveled circle glass ornies with each of my baby doggies on them including their names! At the top says "Merry Christmas" and the bottom "Happy New Year". I just can't believe how awesome they are!!!

YAY! I finally took some time to make a new ornie! I REALLY love the way they turned out! I usually do a lot of detail with my items but the simplicity of this one made a big impact for me!

I REALLY need to boast!

Ok...I think most know by now that I am obsessed with handmade ornies lol. I just cant get enough of them! Anyway...I recently got some awesome ornies! I just finished decorating my tree and so so happy with them all!

It's Time to Swap Ornies!

It's that time of year everyone! Christmas Ornie Swappin!

While many of you may already be involved in many different swaps (as I am too)...I also would like to invite you to do a personal handmade ornie swap with me! Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and I have collected so many handmade ornies over the years from some very talented artists. I guess you could say im an ornieholic...i just cant get enough of them!

My Christmas tree is over full with nothing but lil handmades...from tiny rag dolls to primitive handmade icicles, to stick horses....oh it would just take a day to list them all...

New Easter/Spring Chick Eggs & Rug plus Easy Shopping!

Good day to everyone! I want to first thank everyone that has voted for Twinkie this week! It means a lot and we are hopeful that he will go onto the semi finals in a few months!

Secondly, I want to point out a new link that is on the right hand "Aunt Mannys Sites" column. "AMC Easy Shopping" is a one page shopping site for our items. Same products that you will find on our website but everything is all on one page and it is strictly products, no extra jabbering. So you can get straight to buying! We have got our websets and etsy banners added in the graphics section but still need to finish adding all of the auction template graphics. Otherwise, it's pretty much finished.

Lastly, I've got a couple of new items finished this week. One is another hooked rug. It's got great Valentine colors but is also wonderful for everyday use as well.


I decided that I was going to make up some St. Paddys Day items and somehow I managed to make chick eggs with feet instead. I have no clue where the road forked on that one but I really think they turned out cute! Zoey calls them Pips instead of Peeps and I called them Cheggs...LOL. New Item ~ Cinnamon Valentine Kisses!

I just got these finished up (thanks in part to a custom order) and the pattern will soon follow. These Valentine lips turned out so cool I just love 'em! I dipped them in my highly fragrant cinnamon wax and they smell soooo yummy!

Monday Madness ~ Blizzard, New Item/Pattern, New Location!

Good Monday evenin ya'll! I am feeling a bit better FINALLY! I've been working very hard getting orders out to everyone and have just a few more to finish up this week.

We got a couple of inches of snow today and have more coming tonight. We also have a blizzard warning for tonight and tomorrow with lows below zero and -30 to -40 below with the windchill!!!!! BURRRRRRRR On top of that, we have several more inches of snow coming tomorrow night and into Wednesday...my gosh, enough already! LOL

While working on orders, I was able to get a new Valentine item finished and hope to have it posted and listed tomorrow (with a little luck...ok a LOT of luck!). And you know what that means...new item = new pattern! YAY!

Lastly, for all of my PA customers and the surrounding area...you will be able to find some of our products in the cutest little shop there! I'll give you more details on that later though.

I just wanted to check in and touch base to let ya'll know I'm still alive...just buried not only in orders but in snow!!!!

Christmas went over extremely well this year! The kids were overly happy with their gifts and our family dinner was excellent. We stayed over at my brother's house until 3 in the morning playing WII, cards, PS3 and computer games. We had such a blast! I hope your holiday was just as wonderful!

Christmas is almost here and roses!

So....are ya ready? Only 4 days to go til Santa gets here! Is your shopping done yet or are you gonna be brave and go out to battle the horrific last minute shopping traffic?

Thankfully, all of my shopping is complete and even wrapped! Can ya believe it! I think im on the ball this year. With my kids being older now, its MUCH easier to shop and less to get for them. And with Zoey getting part of her Christmas present early....she was a breeze to shop for!

Now that I'm ready for Christmas, I decided to work on more Valentine items. I know...shoot me for even mentioning it! But, you have to admit, it will be here quick once the first of the year hits!
