As promised, I finally got some St. Paddy's Day ornies finished. No Shamrock ornies here, these are a little different from the norm...grungy old horseshoes made to look rusty and some leprechaun gold coins!

A Love Hate Relationship
Hi gang! I am starting to get things back on track after the last two exhausting weeks.
Thank you to those who left thoughts and prayers comments as well as emails. It really means a lot to have your support.
To top off the last two weeks...ebay struck again. You see, ebay and I have had this love/hate, on again/off again relationship for many years now. I love to hate them and I hate to love them.
I felt the love from them this past weekend when they decided to pull almost 40 of my auctions. Uh huh...that many! Not only did they pull them but they deleted them instead of putting them in my "unsold items" where I could have simply relisted them (and they do have the option of doing that when they pull them).
Why did they pull them? Because with everything goin on these past two weeks, I forgot all about changing my wording. Most of my auctions still stated that I accepted checks and money orders and since ebay finds that to be "unsafe and unsecure" they no longer allow those forms of payment.
The funny thing is...they pulled almost 40 and left about a half dozen of them that still had the wording...things that make ya go hmmmmm. So here I am frantically looking through turbo lister to see if I still had ANY of them to copy and paste. Thankfully I have my items on more than one selling site so that did help with relisting most of them. However, it still took me late into saturday night and half a day sunday to get everything reworded, copy/pasted and relisted. UGH! Oh...and don't forget the listing fees I paid all over again for every auction!
The kicker is that ebay also sent emails to everyone who had purchased a pulled auction in the last 7 days and told them it was no longer available. Those that paid and did not receive their items yet thought that ebay refunded their money and i had two people actually reorder. I sent out refunds letting them know the transaction went through but I think ebay needs to find another solution to sending out emails like that and freakin people out. I, myself, wondered at first if monies were refunded so I had to check my paypal to be sure.
Ahhhh...the wonderful world of ebay...surprises around every corner!
k...nuff about that. I will be working on finishing some St. Paddy's day ornies this week and will hopefully be able to list my Easter Bunny Candy Dish tonight (after I've checked the wording a dozen times...lol).
Before I go, I need to thank dear sweet Deb over at
Deb's Primitive Country Kitchen for this wonderful award. Thank you darlin!

Another Family Passing and Apology
Hi gang. We laid dad to rest on Valenine's Day and it was the most beautiful service! Unfortunately, his mother passed away the following morning. Visitation is today and her funeral is tomorrow.
I want to apologize to those that were unable to properly view my blog, website and ebay auctions over the weekend. Due to a glitch in my website host, my domain did not get automatically renewed (which is where 99% of my photos are stored) and everything was down until yesterday. I did everything I could to get it back up in a timely manner and again, I do apologize.
I have a personal project I have been working on and hope to finish up soon. I'll get some pics posted once it is all finished.
I've got some new St. Patrick's Day ornies due out shortly as well so please keep your eye out!
Hope all is well with you and yours.

Family Passing, Puppy Name & New Product
Sadly, dad (Bob) passed away yesterday. He is in a better place now and no longer suffering with the pain he was in. God rest his soul and may he now have eternal peace. Thank you so much to all who supported me and sent out thoughts and prayers for the family. It truly means a lot.
My last post was about the new puppy we got. We were trying to decide a name for her and Zoey wanted either Hope or Precious. We have decided to name her Asha (ah-shah) which means "hope". It's short, simple and sweet.
Lastly, I was able to finish up another supply product. Grungy bottle caps for scrapbooking, altered art and more! The second photo is what I did with one of my grungy caps. Love the look! I put them on ebay and you can click one of the photos below to visit the auction.

New Baby Has Arrived!!!
As of late, I have been spending a lot of time at the hospital with a family that I have been close with for over 20 years (their daughter is one of my best friends). Dad is in the hospital battling cancer and pneunomia. He is very strong though, and we just know he will overcome it.
This ties into our new addition to the family. I wanted a playmate for Twinkie but with everything going on, it just wasn't the right time. While sitting in the waiting room at the hospital, I picked up the newspaper to browse the puppy section. I came across an ad for a litter of Chihuahuas. The photo in the ad just made my heart melt.
I decided to give them a call to inquire about their puppies. Come to find out, the woman had them for sale a few months ago but had to withdraw her listing. She had a bout with cancer and went through surgery and was just now recovering. She put the ad back out even though the pups were a bit older. I asked how old and come to find out, the pups were only 9 days older than my baby Twinkie!
The topping on the cake is that she had a blue and tan...my favorite color Chi! How ironic everything seemed to be. The cancer....the birthdays....the color. We talked for so long about cancer and everything going on that we didn't even get to the pups until about 20 minutes into our conversation. We talked as if we had been life long friends.
We met so I could see the pup and OH MY...she is just so precious! We have not given her a name yet but Zoey suggested either Precious or Hope since we have so much hope that Judy (the one that sold us the pup) and my best friend's dad will overcome their cancer and be in remission for many years to come.
